The Humanist Brothers Prepare for Holy Week Missions

From March 29th to April 10th, the second-year humanist brothers will go to Holy Week Missions in several Regnum Christi localities across the U.S. and Mexico.

But what are Holy Week Missions? The missions are a young and joyful response to Christ’s message that the Pope has so often reminded us: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel.” For these momentous missions, the entire Regnum Christi family of priests, brothers, consecrated and lay members join forces to bring Christ’s message to everyone.

Here are some of the Regnum Christi localities the brothers are going to Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia, San Jose, Atlanta, Louisiana, Mexico City, and Monterrey. The brothers are looking forward to this powerful apostolic experience of sharing Christ’s love that they have received and spreading it.

The brothers are now in preparation time for these wonderful Holy Week Missions. They are equipping themselves by praying for the souls they will encounter and organizing talks and meditations for the missionaries accompanying them during this apostolate.

Br. Gabriel Alberti, LC, a brother going to Monterrey, shared: “For the Holy Week missions, I hope to bring Christ closer to the people I will meet through my life witness as a religious. I also hope to encounter him (Christ) in a different reality, which is the mission field. And I hope that this experience will help me grow in my legionary vocation.”

We hope the brothers may enjoy and bring Christ’s love to the people they will encounter during this Holy Week Missions, giving what they have received: Christ.

Let’s see how many beautiful stories the brothers will bring after they return from Holy Week Missions, and they can share them with us.
