Dr. Kathleen Marks received her B.A. in Literature from Thomas More College in NH. She has her M.A. and Ph.D in Literature (with a Minor in Theology) from the University of Dallas. An Associate Professor of English at St. John’s University in Queens, NY, Dr. Marks teaches a variety of core and elective English courses. She is the author of several articles on classical and modern works of literature and of the book Toni Morrison’s Beloved and the Apotropaic Imagination, University of Missouri Press, 2002. She lives in Queens with her English Professor husband and grade school daughter.
