Originating from Lake Charles Louisiana, I entered the Legion in the year 2000. After finishing two years Novitiate in Cornwall, Canada, I arrived to Cheshire Connecticut in 2002 to do a year of Humanities. That year was a very enriching time going back to the classics, studying classical art which I was able to put to great use during my years in Rome giving tours to families of the Vatican Museums and other places in Rome. As well in humanities there was the opportunity to perfect styles of speaking rather it be giving a talk, giving a meditation, or preaching a homily.
After finishing year of humanities, I achieved a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy in Thornwood, New York. Later on I finished studies in Rome receiving a bachelor’s in Theology and being ordained to the priesthood Dec. 12, 2011. I then had the great grace of returning to Cornwall, Canada, for the first two years of my priesthood and am currently stationed in Dallas, Texas.
My role here in Dallas is youth work, helping boys anywhere from the age of 5 through their teenage years to their 20s to come closer to Christ and grow in their spiritual life. I spend most my time helping out in various schools with the sacraments and giving retreats and camps, as well giving talks to dads on Fatherhood.
When we are generous with God, God is generous with us. How much I have to be thankful for.
