We are grateful to announce that on April 26, the State of Connecticut has renewed accreditation to our College for another five years. The College thanks all who have shown us their support in so many ways and are helping us to offer an ever more professional education to our future priests.
All the brothers here get excited about the Easter celebrations. Christ rising from the dead, the smell of the flowers and incense in the chapel, being able to sing the Alleluia once again, and spending quality time with each other all combine to make a beautiful Easter Octave. This year the brothers in the humanities program received an extra treat.
“Thanks to this ministry five thousand Catholics have come home,” said Fr David Daly, our rector, as he introduced the guest speaker of last Friday’s conference. To which Tom Peterson, the founder of
Catholics Come Home, commented, “Actually, by the grace of God, the number is five hundred thousand.”
“Wow, this is so strange! Can this really be considered art?” The brothers in their last year of humanities studies traveled to New York’s Museum of Modern Art on the 29
th of March.
